CHARLOTTE, N.C. Anthony Aldrich II is only 14 but fancies himself a master salesman. He has the stats to prove it. Last year, he led the nation in sales of gourmet popcorn --$19,458 worth. That makes the Myers Park High School freshman something of a celebrity among Boy Scouts, who pursue popcorn sales with the same steeled ambition as Girl Scouts and their cookies.

Beloit Daily News - Sometimes, Showers delivered bikes to friends who weren't even at the sale, telling them they'd bought the wheels for ten bucks. Fork it over. A lot of Showers' auctions were done pro bono for the Newark-Beloit 4-H club and other worthy organizations ...
